Vilnius Residents enjoyed Scandinavian events in new shopping centre

The fans of Scandinavian music, enthusiasts of Northern Walking, men determined to carry their wives on their shoulders and others gathered at an all day party Saturday at the new Nordika shopping valley.

“We threw a three day Nordic party, with lots of events for children, to open one of the biggest shopping centres for families. Nordika is a centre of attraction for Southern Vilnius and we will present Nordic and Lithuanian fun in the future”, said Nerijus Juodelis, General Manager of Nordika shopping valley.

The visitors enjoyed a Biplan band concert, and dancing duet T&K Duo show. The guests of Nordika could also participate in such Scandinavian activities as Northern Walking lessons and wife carrying competition. Special activities were also prepared for children.
Guests enjoyed not only the music and other attractions, but had a chance to see the benefits of Nordikashopping valley – with convenient access to the shopping centre avoiding traffic jams, wide parking spaces, large assortment of stores selling goods for households and families.

More than 30 local and international stores and restaurants are already in Nordika, including Rimi Hypermarket, Elektromarkt, McDonald’s, and Baby City/Toy City megastore.

Investors in the shopping valley expect that this property in Southern Vilnius, near IKEA, will change the habits of Vilnius residents, encouraging them to shop in this region.
